We're seeking a visionary Head of Cyber Fusion Centre to lead the evolution of cybersecurity operations for a leading global insurance company. If you're passionate about innovation and protecting businesses from ever-changing cyber threats, this is your chance to make a real impact.
This high-profile role involves transitioning from a traditional SOC model to a state-of-the-art Cyber Fusion Centre. You'll oversee a 35-strong team (20 internal, 15 external) and spearhead the recruitment of 10 new experts within the next year.
What You'll Be Doing
🔹 Inspire & Lead: Motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams, including Red and Blue Teams, penetration testers, and incident responders.
🔹 Drive Operations: Oversee 24/7 global cybersecurity operations, ensuring rapid and effective incident response.
🔹 Shape the Future: Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for cutting-edge security capabilities.
🔹 Measure Success: Define and monitor KPIs/KRIs to ensure operational readiness and resilience.
🔹 Collaborate & Manage: Build strong relationships with third-party vendors and attract top-tier cybersecurity talent.
What You'll Bring
Experience:
- 8+ years in cybersecurity (Red Teaming, Blue Teaming, penetration testing, incident response, etc.).
- 3+ years managing and leading teams.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management tools.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while effectively communicating with executives.
Preferred:
- Background in engineering or operations.
- Certifications like CISSP or CREST.
Flexibility: Willing to travel approximately once a month.
