Investment Accounting Lead
Our client, a growing insurance company, is seeking an Investment Accounting Lead to join their Finance department.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze investment reports on a GAAP and STAT basis
- Reconcile investment accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Complete audit processes in conjunction with both internal and external auditors
- Monitor investment performance and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of investment accounting experience within the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of GAAP & STAT investment reporting
- Insurance industry experience a must
- Working knowledge with Clearwater Analytics
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
