Procurement Manager -APAC

As the Procurement Manager for the APAC region, specializing in both Technology and Non-IT categories within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, you will be responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities related to these categories across multiple countries in the APAC region. Your role will involve developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings initiatives.

1. Category Management:

- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for Technology and Non-IT categories, including demand planning, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and resolve any issues.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews, including performance evaluations and supplier development initiatives.

1. Contract Negotiation and Management:

- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure that contracts are comprehensive, legally sound, and protect the interests of the organization.
- Monitor contract compliance and manage contract variations or disputes.
- Collaborate with legal and other relevant teams to minimize contractual risks.

1. Cost Savings and Value Generation:

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value generation initiatives across Technology and Non-IT categories.
- Implement strategies to optimize total cost of ownership and achieve savings targets.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to procurement activities.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions (such as IT, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to understand their requirements and provide procurement support.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement best practices and supplier selection.
