Scrum Master - Insurance MNC - START IN JAN25

Overview

Join our dynamic Portfolio team as a Scrum Master, where you'll play a pivotal role in leading a project focused on policy fulfillment and underwriting automation. This multi-year program is set to commence in January 2025, with a commitment of 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and team alignment.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of project milestones, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating change when necessary.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance using metrics and KPIs, providing feedback and guidance to enhance productivity.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring team members are utilized to their full potential.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any team conflicts or challenges promptly to maintain a productive working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage and implement best practices for Agile methodologies, fostering an environment of learning and adaptation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure cohesive project advancement.
  • Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible, facilitating transparency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years in managing Agile or hybrid projects in a Scrum Master capacity.
  • Certifications: MUST hold Agile certifications (SAFe and equivalent), Scrum Master and PMP certifications.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Cantonese is required.
  • Technical Background: Preferably with experience in the insurance and banking sectors.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mature a team without formal teaching responsibilities.

  • Flexibility: Candidates with a business analyst background currently acting as Scrum Masters are encouraged to apply, and opportunities are available to assume Scrum Master responsibilities.
  • Process: Expect a maximum of 2 interview rounds.
  • Start Date: January 2025.
