We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join our team, focusing on trading desk activities across a range of asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, challenge business processes, and contribute to strengthening the control environment.

As a key player in the audit team, you'll independently design and execute audit strategies, assess risk impacts, and engage with business leaders to ensure compliance and optimize processes. Your technical skills and understanding of the financial services industry will be critical in driving efficient audit practices through the use of automation and innovative methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit activities by defining scope and audit programs for trading desk coverage.
  • Assess and challenge business processes, controls, and strategies to provide risk-based recommendations.
  • Utilize automation tools (SQL, SAS, Excel, etc.) to streamline audit processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners to deepen your understanding of business lines.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on audit findings to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of peers and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in audit, compliance, or business controls within financial services, with specific expertise in trading desk activities.
  • Strong understanding of risk and controls frameworks in capital markets.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Excel, or other data analytics tools to support audit activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
