A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire a Senior Claims Specialist - General Liability (Major Loss) In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for handling major loss / primary & excess casualty cases including general liability, premise liability, product liability and other major bodily injuries. Claims will range from $100,000 to $1M in value and involve complex litigation and coverage analysis.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 7+ years casualty / general liability claim experience (premise, slip & falls, bodily injuries etc.)
- 5+ years major loss casualty/CGL experience - with exposure to claims above $250K in value
- Exposure to construction injury / NYLL claims beneficial
- Exposure to litigation and complex coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- The ability to act as a technical lead and provide advice to more junior adjusters
- Bachelors Degree essential. JD preferred but not essential
This role is on a hybrid schedule from NYC, Chicago or Atlanta (3 days in office/2 days remote) with an excellent salary up to $175,000 plus 25% on-target annual bonus, along with excellent benefits and a clear career path for the future.
