As a Guidewire SWE, you'll transform requirements into software, maintain programs for automation, and design critical applications. You may work in areas like Open Systems, Mainframe, or Application Configuration. While specializing in Claims Portfolio, you'll elevate customer claim experiences through mobile capabilities, automation, and real-time processing.

Position Summary:

This role centers on developing software solutions and maintaining programs for business and IT automation. It encompasses designing critical software and applications across various domains like Open Systems, Mainframe, and Application Configuration. The primary objective is to enrich customer claim experiences through mobile capabilities, automation, and real-time processing within the Claims Portfolio.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Java-based n-tier web application development experience.
  • - Proficiency in enterprise software systems development, including relational databases, system integration, and web UI.
  • Strong expertise in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and Java RESTful APIs.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and Guidewire Associate Certification for Engineers.
  • Proficient in agile methodology, unit testing, and coaching.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.

Preferences:
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Capabilities and Business Rules framework.
  • Leadership experience and Guidewire Ace Certification.
  • Knowledgeable about SDLC technical and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop program logic for new applications and enhance existing ones.
  • Contribute high-quality code and unit tests to releases.
  • Assist in designing documents and improving platform stability.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and mentor team members.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
