Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax strategies within the realms of Insurance, Asset Management & Investments and company Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
- Develop tax planning strategies and analyses for various real estate transactions and acquisitions.
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and updates specific to the insurance industry.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance departments to streamline tax processes and practices.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to team members ensuring professional development and efficiency in the tax department.
Key Skills
- 5 years+ experience
- Strong expertise in tax compliance and strategy development, specifically in Asset Management, Insurance and Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Comprehensive understanding of either Asset Management, Insurance sector and the impact of financial regulations on tax posture.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases.
- Strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of managing a tax team.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining high accuracy in all financial documentation and reporting.
