Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of the company's websites, ensuring they are secure, responsive, and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
- Monitor website functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Research and analyze website and SEO trends to develop strategies that will improve our content's ranking in SERPs and increase user engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, and content) to update and publish website content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with the company's tone.
- Implement and optimize SEO strategies to improve search rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance visibility.
- Work with developers to implement new features, functionalities, and design updates that enhance user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, tracking key metrics (e.g., site speed, bounce rate, conversion rates).
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize website performance and user engagement.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
Technical Skills
- Proven experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, or in a similar role, with a portfolio of websites you've managed or developed.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS, XML; SQL and Javascript would be useful
- Expertise in CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and website performance optimization tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing SEO campaigns
- Expertise in website analytics and performance tracking
